We woke up again to the waves after another crazy storm last night. It seems to be nice all day and then storm all night. Not a bad deal, plus it's fun to watch the storms over the water. We woke up somewhat early because we planned to go snorkeling. We were waiting for a confirmation email in the morning to make sure we would go.
We got the first confirmation email so we jolted up and quick ate breakfast. As we were eating breakfast we got the second email telling us they don't actually have space for today. Ahhhh. False hopes.
Luckily we figured out that we will be able to go snorkeling in Koh Rong, so we will be alright. Plus, we get another day to chill on the beach. Hopefully you won't get too bored with my beach posts because we don't really do much, and we'll be on the beach for the next 6 or so days.
We relaxed and sat around most of the day. The water was amazing as usual, so we took occasional dips as we heated up. The food at our resort was good, as well as the margs in the afternoon.
(Not a bad view)
We did a lot of RWC all day and I'm finally starting to catch up to Alex. She's not so happy about it, but I can't make her win.
I stayed under the umbrella most of the day to let my sun turn into tan, so I don't get too burnt. My back's starting to peel and Alex loves putting sun screen on my peeling back!
Tomorrow we head into Kep, Cambodia so we coordinated that with our host. We will be staying near a beach and pool. There are some mountains there as well so hopefully we'll go for a hike.
That's really all today. Very relaxing day on the beach. We have a couple more busy cities to visit otherwise it's mainly beaches. It's crazy how fast things have gone though - we still have about three weeks but it seems like we're almost heading home!
At any rate, we'll see you bright and early at 6:30am tomorrow to catch our bus. Hope you're staying warm in the cold West coast, Mountain times, Midwest, East Coast, and Floridas (I think I covered most of your time zones?)! I'm trying my hardest to send the sun and warmth.
