Pai Day

From 10/6
We woke up, packed a bit, and had our clothes dropped off for us after the final alterations. We had a bunch of stuff that we didn't want to carry with us for the teining seven weeks, so we dropped off some stuff to get shipped back to the states. For 5kg of stuff it only cost us a combined $60 for delivery in five business days. Luckily we have Kevin to receive all of this stuff for us!

Then we got on the bus up to Pai, about a three and a half hour drive. They STUFFED our van with both people and bahgage. It was kind of a joke, but I guess it makes sense to send as many people up in one vehicle as possible.

Once we got up their it was a charming little town. Much less crowded and polluted than the two previous cities. We wondered around and found a place to eat. The food here has been spicy, but not so spicy that it ruins the flavor of the food.

We wondered and grabbed a couple drinks at two chill bars.
There was live music at both bars, and it ended up being the same guy! Small enough town that he hops from bar to bar to play music throughout the night. The second bar was a funky mix of a jewelry shop and bar - it even had a bonfire pit inside it

Afterwards we went back to our bungalow to sleep to get ready for a potential trek or rafting trip. Our little bungalow is a super fun one, best so far.

So far my favorite town we've been to, but we'll see how the adventures are!
